Sacred Plants show us our true nature and also the mask or personality we had to build up in our childhood in order to maintain the pseudo-connection with our caretakers.
This mask, personality or role was essential and life-saving during our childhood and necessary for our survival. We had to suppress our feelings, certain qualities and also the pain related to our self-betrayal because it would have been unbearable to constantly face it. Very few caretakers love their children unconditionally and accept all their traits.
So we had to suppress everything that was not welcomed and adopt qualities that pleased our caretakers. Which seemingly became ours but actually didn’t. Since most of us didn’t feel neither physically nor emotionally held we turned to our mind for support to feel comforted and developed a close relationship with it. Our mind’s main purpose is to keep us safe and to distract us from our emotional pain that seems life-threatening.
Unfortunately that creates a lot of suffering since it prevents us from connecting authentically to ourselves and others. We have lost touch with our body, our feelings and our inner guidance system like intuition, inspiration, gut feeling and heart intelligence and believe that we can solve and grasp everything with the mind. Connection to ourselves and others on an inauthentic mental level is completely impossible and therefore we indulge in compensation strategies and addictions like consume, power, recognition, overeating, drugs, alcohol, money and relationships in order to fill our insatiable inner void which can never be filled with anything from the outside world.
The Sacred Plants can show us how easy it can be to be happy …
And they can also show us what and who we are, what our powers are and what to do with them.
Their greatest potential is to awaken a State of Consciousness that can help us to find harmony, balance and inner peace in our lives.

A Journey from the limits of the Mind to the Wisdom of the Heart.
What we will do and what will happen
Most of our symptoms, be it mental, psychological, emotional or physical but also all the war’s and conflicts in the world are due to one simple fact. That we have forgotten who we really are and believe to be the body – mind. A finite and mortal individual that has to fight and struggle for its survival. And that is what we do. Struggling, fighting, efforting and trying to force things. Harming ourselves and everything else in the process in order to fill our inner void. But our core assumption couldn’t be further from the truth. What we really are has never been born and will never die. It has been effortlessly looking through our eyes all along without us being able to create it or get rid of it. And it is searching for itself.
Nevertheless the Illusion of being a separate individual hides behind subconscious patterns, limiting beliefs, self condemnations and a movie we are walking around with and projecting onto the outside world without checking its reality. A movie that says that the outside world and other people are dangerous and will abandon, ignore, attack, shame or ignore us if we behave or are in a certain way or if we don’t behave or aren’t in a certain way.
The Language of connection invites, welcomes, acknowledges and accompanies everything that is hidden within us and meets it with inquisitive curiosity, understanding and compassion without wanting to get rid of anything. Wanting to permeate it all with its benevolent attention. Washing everything out into the open like water. And it reveals that most of our assumptions about ourselves, the world and other people are not true which has been the cause of all of our unnecessary distress, suffering and lack of energy.
We will spend a lot of time walking in nature (see daily details below) while there will be dedicated spaces in the morning and evening to find out what we really are and to unmask what the illusion holds on to and hides behind.

Transport
I offer seats in my bus from different points in Germany and along the route. Please get in touch for price and pick up information. The nearest airport is Amsterdam. Nevertheless you will need a seat in a car to get to the starting locations every morning. I can assist you with arranging car pools in order to rent a car together with other participants or to join somebody else’s car.
Accommodation
We will stay on a beautiful camping site that seems rather like a private garden and leave all our stuff there or in the cars.

Food
Food is not included in the event fee. So please make sure that you have your food prepared for breakfast and lunch every day. And maybe bring it along for the fist day to make sure that it won’t cause you any distress. Especially at lunchtime we will be out in nature where it might not be possible to get any food. We will stop at a supermarket every morning to buy the necessary provisions. For dinner we usually go to a restaurant but everybody is free to decide if that is convenient.

All the activities we will do are in accordance with the laws in the Netherlands.
Program
Friday
Arrival from 19:00 o’clock at the camping site. We will be in touch about where to put your tent. We will stay at the same camping site during the whole time and drive to the starting locations every morning.
Saturday
- 1. 7:30 – 8:00: No breakfast, sacred plants are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach
- 2. 8:00: Morning activities
- 3. Departure to Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park
- 4. Introduction to the Inner Journey
- 5. Inner Journey with Sacred Plants
- 6. Lunch. Please bring your lunch! After the journey I am usually very very hungry!
